Save Some for Tomorrow
Protecting the environment
Is what we learned at school
But Detroit’s pushing steel
That feeds on fossil fuel
Who is going to stop them?
Certainly not you
When profit plays priority
In everything you do
You’ve all heard that jingle
About a tiger in your tank
That tiger was a saber tooth
Before, in tar he sank.
What about aluminum?
Do you recycle cans?
Or are you just too busy
Working on your tans?
Our resources are limited
And you just sit around
Thrilled that your bank account
Is dug out of the ground
While you rape this planet
On land and on the sea
I hope that you will leave
A tiny piece or two for me.

Psycho,
I liked this piece because I feel the absolute same way. I hate how we are such a wasteful society and we are propped up on a crutch called crude oil that benefits a few, while hurting many. Good read psycho.

Thank you burnz, Pen. I'm ashamed of you, I suppose you're driving an SUV or some other gas hog like that from the way you put it. Well, as long as you realize you're part of the problem maybe there is still hope.
