The doom of man

The doom of man

What evil is this,
That allows you to miss,
The chaos in your lands?
You go and conquer,
You rape and pillage,
And you follow the instincts of man.
But while you waste your humanity on luxurious insanity,
Your fellow men wallow in chaotic filth.
How can you abandon your king?
How can you say that no matter the scene,
Your war will bring deliverance from the pain?
Nothing, I tell you,
Nothing but your own sacrifice to the lords of the fires and ash,
Nothing will allow redemption from this bloody bath,
Nothing, nothing at all will allow you to redeem yourself from abandoning your people in This bloodbath.
You, a man who deems himself righteous.
You, a man who thinks that the gods hold him in favor.
You, who offer nothing more than to destroy the favorites of the kings of the earth and The sky,
How can you think that man does not want you to die?
How can you know who will bless your sword?
How can you know who will steal, it?
How can you know who would take it to slay you?
You cant, I tell you.
You cant, for if you did, you would not have let me begin my narrative.
