love triangle
three vertices of hurt

pop star,
Neverland’s mannequin

mother,
litigator’s lust

young boy,
television’s whore

love triangle
geometry’s cruel joke
made shameful square by

us
shaking our heads in disgust
even as we must prepare dinner
during commercial breaks
