I'm a Survivor

Last year I had a lung collapse (that wasn’t very fun).
Today I fight pneumonia (some are lost; some won)
Life isn’t always easy, but no matter what they say
Life is still worth fighting for each and every day.

There’s lots of things I’d like to do I’ll never do again.
But I still have my memories and I still have my friends.
Be thankful for the little things (for there are lots of those)
Forget those little worries and ignore the little woes.

Close your eyes and wander to some exotic land
Walk along a quiet beach, warming feet in snow-white sand.
Watch the waterfalls playing underneath a summer sun
Playing like a child as you walk or as you run.

So each night at sunset, as the sun is going down
I can look back on the day and I will smile instead of frown.
So, I’ll tell you Mr. Reaper if you plan to come for me
You better bring an army, cause I won’t go easily.
