Love and Death

I saw you hanging
From that rope
Upon the apple tree
I know it's much to late
To ask questions at this point
I thought you loved me dearly
As much as I loved you
But now it seems were over
But i'm still in love with you.

The End
Haunted...

Love and Death... two things that are never easy to deal with, wouldn't you say? It's hard for me to tell whether the Death in question was figurative or literal, but I'm not sure that it matters. Either way, the feelings are similar. The mention of a specific kind of tree makes me wonder, though. Oh, and was "know" supposed to be "now?"

I liked how very to-the-point this was. Pain has a way of making us less talkative, doesn't it? It's how I can tell that this is coming from a very real place.
