A Lost Love

Like the raindrops from heaven,
the tears of my heart fall.
To think of what we had,
to think of what we lost.
Like a wilterd rose,
after the harsh winter.
To think of what we could've had,
to think of what we lost.
I love you,
and it grows everyday.
I just wish I could show you,
in some kind of way.

~**This is one of my very first poems**~

gohn67 is an unknown quantity at this point
I think its kind of clique. But I think you expressed the emotions you wanted in this piece though. Its very clear to me.

Love poems are hard to write. Mainly because all the original ideas are practically taken.

But the way I feel about love poems is that as long you express your feelings the way you wanted to its a success because tp me love poems are more personal. I feel like you did that.
