Sweet Wonder
Sweet Wonder
In the street I find
my place amongst the grime,
Underneath the breeze
amongst the better sleeze.
On the sands I walk
on the wrinkled face of the moon,
sitting on the crest of antiquated dunes,
and from here the aroma of salt -
from oceans that froze against the rock.
Through the forest branch
an efficacious melody from the wild nest,
A munificent peace down this path
keeps the troubles off of every man.
Just a human amongst the crumble,
a neoteric speck in this tundra.
No matter the land I cross
No matter the words to mollify my thoughts
Still a newborn to this all;
Amongst this millenium boom,
like a flash of light, my trails will end soon.
