Move toward the center

Anger lost in a void of pride
How can we create a bridge with a gap so wide?

As I gaze across this chasm
Something must happen

Move toward the center create the catalyst
Inertia causes no effect yet we exist
Becoming stale in the vacuum
Someone must move soon

Pieces left in stasis

As we play out through the ages.

A recurring theme of hatred
Lives thrown away wasted

Apocalypse Armageddon Jihad The end of things
Excuses given to hide behind what we bring
Its coming that’s true.
If we carry on with what we do

Religion Nation Race or creed.
Is this really what we need?

Homo sapiens
World wide nation

If only we could see
What we could be

Maybe it’s too bright
And blinds our sight

Dazzled by understanding we crash and burn

Or maybe just maybe we can learn?

Wow...how very true. I liked it a lot; it had a good rythym and I liked the different styles in which you wrote, you didn't just stick to one thing...there would be one long idea and then several short ones, then long again. It was very cool to read. Everything you spoke was true...maybe one day we will learn...good job (as usual!)

'Dazzled by understanding to we crash and burn' the word 'to' in this line looks wrong and you've got a typo in your title.

This looks like spoken word, seems to have that bongo rhythm.
