Swimming through the ocean,
Unobservant of it's great beauty,
Life's so blissfully simple,
To swim around's your only duty.
Doing the same thing,
From New Year 'til December,
What have you been doing all your life?
You say you can't remember.
The life of a fish,
It really can't be beaten,
Your only worry in your life,
Is to make sure you won't be eaten.
This poem won the poem of the year award in my school (I'm 13) and though I don't think it's brilliant, just thought I'd show you what kind of writing I'm into.
Hope you enjoyed.
