The eyes never lie.

Within the gaze we hold
Reflections of a lifetime
The mask we wear moulded
To become a face
Pantomimes played out
On an endless stage
Players become people
People are the players
Within the eyes
No one can deny
Reality revealed the orb of our soul
This is where we can only show
Who we are
The eyes never lie.

Hi Gordon!

Hmm, very interesting read! It's like people are the puppets of life and no matter what costume (mask) they wear, the eyes shall always belie their true feelings, despite whatever show (of emotion) they should put on for their audience, right?

Very nice!

I am with you 100 % the eyes never lie, sometimes that is not such a good thing. Incredible writing!
