on his way to heaven
the man with the tan
told the girl with the twirl
to cry or to die
or just get out of bed
the boy with the ploy
had a dream with some steam
but his dad took it bad
and sent him on to college
the randy jim dandy
smiled and defiled
the smiles all the while
and cried some tuesday
the teen on caffeine
thought the earth was his turf
but was stranded so he landed
in the morgue anyway
the mother with the lover
had a gun for some fun
so threw off her shoes
on the way to prison
the splendid fool was cool
he was paid and delayed
but he waved and behaved
as his life went broke
the cat in the hat
told the dog on the log
it means this and that
but nothing, mostly
