my comfortable shoes
I like to wander in self righteous dileriums
floating and flying on soft, white clouds of hate
all the while my heart sends me to shiver in a corner.
I like to watch people by bottled water because it costs a dollar,
perhaps they'll catch west nile and freeze
whilst i beg for a disease to explain my restlessness.
I like to go on walks without socks on,
the tread of my shoe wearing away at every stride.
that boy in cambodia should be proud -
these shoes are comfortable.
