A lyrical parody of 'Fighter' By Christina

*Whisper* After all you’ve put me through,
You’d think I’d despise you,
But at The End, I know I’ll thank you,
‘Cause you made life that much longer...

Well, I thought I knew you,
Thinking your words were true,
Guess I, I couldn’t rush,
But your push
Taught me stuff,
Now I have enough.
You were there in my head,
Should have been in my bed,
But your, your plot just went down in flames,
And your Protag doesn’t have a name.
MmHmm.

After all of the cussing and screaming,
You probably think that its the Rubbish Bin for you...
Nuh-uh, oh no.
You’re wrong.
‘Cause if it wasn’t for all the words I tried to do,
I wouldn’t know just how capable I am to get through,
And now I wanna say thank you...

*Chorus*
‘Cos...
My words get that much longer,
The plot gets a little bit thicker,
The Protag that much wiser.
Thanks for makin’ me
A Writer!
Made the pace a little bit faster,
The ninjas fight a little bit quicker,
The coffee that much stronger,
S’ thanks for makin’ me
A Writer!

O-oh, o-oh, o-oh, o-oh, o-oo-o-ey-yea-ea-yeah-Ooo-o

Never thought you’d be done,
It would be so much fun,
Just so
I could cash in
On this book thing
With outlines
Cookin’ in my brain.
I heard
Them goin’ round,
Thinkin’
Gotta get that down.
Well couldn’ even begin,
Thinkin’ I the one to blame ‘cause I signed up that day.

After all of the threads and deadends
That came back to haunt me, I could’ve thrown you at the wall.
No more. N-uh.
It’s over.
‘Cause if it wasn’t for all of the pressure
Then, I couldn’t say what I can today without lookin’ down,
So I wanna say thank you...

*Chorus*
‘Cos...
I seem that much smarter,
Hold my head a little bit higher,
Makes me that much brighter.
Thanks for makin’ me
A Writer!
Make me type a little bit faster,
Makes me think a little bit quicker,
I work that much harder,
S’ thanks for makin’ me
A Writer!

How could this NaN I thought I’d do
Turn out to be a useful tool,
Didn’t really see the good in you,
Pretended not to have a clue.
I tried to hide that book inside
From myself, was livin’ in denial.
But at The End I see, it’s out of me!

I am a Writer!
I ain’t goin’ stop,
There is no writing block,
Any more!

*Chorus*
My words get that much longer,
The plot gets a little bit thicker,
The Protag that much wiser.
Thanks for makin’ me
A Writer!
Made the pace a little bit faster,
The ninjas fight a little bit quicker,
The coffee that much stronger,
S’ thanks for makin’ me
A Writer!

Thought I would forget, but I, I’ll remember.
Yes, I remember. I’ll remember!
Thought I would forget, but I, I’ll remember.
Yes, I remember. I’ll remember!

*Chorus*
‘Cos...
I seem that much smarter,
Hold my head a little bit higher,
Makes me that much brighter.
Thanks for makin’ me
A Writer!
Make me type a little bit faster,
Makes me think a little bit quicker,
I work that much harder,
S’ thanks for makin’ me
A Writer!

Mission Accomplished.

Rage: Yeah, some of them...

I don't get inspired to write Lyrical Parody too much these days, but this was practically begging to be written!

I think the last one I tried (and gave up before I started) was In Between Your Toes by Shakira!!!
