Wow! I really like this poem. I felt like it was elegent and thoughful. Very good imagery as well. And there's even a good flow despite your "non-rhyming". Very cool.

The first verse struck me as prosaic at first, but I realized how well it went with the rest of the poem when I finished reading it. It was the second verse that really pulled me in and I was just bespelled all the way through. Excellent work.
