Have I sought on this earth........

Should I then end my search, and my songs?
The songs that only you could hear, but no longer do
And the seed in my soul that yearns to flower
Should I then hide, keep safe for the grave?
I see these trees, wilting and forlorn
Dying of thirst, of longing and pain
The Sun, like the truth, burns their leaves
The earth, like shame, rots their roots
Yet they do not give up, this eternal wait
The rain will come; their faith is so strong
Then they will dance, in rapturous joy
And life will go on, as it always has done.
Should I too, then wait for the clouds?
And the tears, which then, will mingle with mine?
In the calm of the grave, I shall then seek
And find you in the end, once and for all.

Farror is an unknown quantity at this point
Good job on this one. I found the message in this poem an important one to tell. (It is keep hope while in despair isn't it?) Actually, the part that I most enjoyed, was the atmosphere, it was fantastic and delightfully dark!

dear farror
thanks for the appreciation.well,it's something like that, but more importantly,it is a sort of death, to finally accept that you have played out your cards in this life and to wait patiently for a fresh deal.
