Somewhere Inside
Another poem I wrote about three years ago. So far no one can guess what it is about. Can you? It was inspired by a monologue done by a friend. I would appreciate some criticism on this one. Thank you all. I hope you enjoy it!
Deep within himself,
In his canvas world he resides,
A world beyond perspective.
Painting colors past imagination.
Painting reality in his light.
Deep within himself,
In his own symphony he exists.
Composing music with unknown tones,
Notes beyond all hearing.
Making music of his feelings.
Deep within himself,
He lives his life in freedom,
Away from all humanity,
Where his paintbrush runs wild
To the music he writes.

Sounds like me... though I am not the painter, I am the musician and the music to which he writes. Though I do paint pictures of life in my mind... I have a thought though!

I’m a musician too! What do you play? I play the soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone saxophone. I also play the piano and bass guitar. Sax is my favorite though.
Can you guess what this poem is about?

Imagination? Just a wild guess.
I really like the poem, by the way. Wonderfully gental, smooth piece.
