Sunset

The sun sets in vain,
Its colorful scheme
The end of a long day,
Beginning of a quiet night

Slowly the sun sinks
Declaring its leave
Come quickly, leaves quickly
But seems to last a lifetime

Nothing beautiful lasts
Always seems to face away
Like the setting sun
Sinks behind the clouds

rcallaci is an unknown quantity at this point
This poem has a nice dreamy feel to it. I like the visuals. Good job

My Warm Regards,

Something about this piece reminds me of a short Robert Frost poem I read in high school. Nice image you have here.
