When did I die?
Why did it end?
What happened?
Where did it go?
Who was I?
When did I give up?
Why did I give up?
Who did I give up?
Where did I give up?
What did I give up?
When did I die?
Why did it end?
What happened?
Where did it go?
Who was I?
When did I give up?
Why did I give up?
Who did I give up?
Where did I give up?
What did I give up?

We are free here, aren't we? I think evolution requires experimentation. Let them say what they will. There are things to be gleaned(jmo)
Knowing the Questions, I can't wait to see the Answers.![]()
The questions are great but you should have had one answer at the end or some type of revelation.
I agree with Wevin---With out some kind of answer or conclusion --then , all the reader is left with is unanswered questions...
I am sure that you did not realize that some of your remarks to people who were kind enough to read your post--come across as arrogant and rude..Not in your best interest --if you want valuable feedback. And I repeat--I am sure you did NOT realize how your remarks sound--you are better than that....

Not much to go on for me, apart from that cool way the questions in the first and second stanza are parallel to each other. And I do think the second stanza gives the answer to all the questions.
The writer (the one voicing the piece, not exactly you) gave up. That's the time he died, that is why he died, etc. It's a sort of weird cycle, this poem, and it adds to the overall mysterious air the piece is already sending.
You don't stop playing because you're getting old; you get old because you stop playing.
