I'm pretty simple, I don't profess to know much
just what I'm told, through the pages of a book.
Written by prophets, inspired with truth
giving me hope in a life of confusion.
It is so perfect and just like a mirror
tells me about myself
and makes the future look clearer.
Builds me up making me stronger
then I ever thought was possible
since I can suffer-longer.
With faith in my prayers
I no longer linger, in a life leading nowhere
I have something to believe in.
I finally found my path to follow
lighting my roadways for a happy tomorrow.
