An old town where calmness saddens its soul
Where gratification is a word nobody has heard of before
While fictitious happiness alleviates misery
And fraudulent demeanor dominates personalities
That is God's forsaken land
Great sorrow shades the sky
People wander treading on the foul dirt
Children starve knowing not a reason why
Women sell their bodies for drops of water
While men sulkily stray everywhere
Everyone awaits for an answer
Everybody seeks the miraculous salvation
Among the lost crowd
A young brother and his older sister
Stood trembling by the sunrise
The sun yellowness was pleasant
And the warmth of it yellowed their skin
She barefooted and his clothes were ragged
People lustfully eyed her beauteous body
And he watched them back
Fright obtains him
Yet, singing loudly frees her
And nobody cares
Her voice shattered glasses of windows but people still mutter.
Muffled sounds
Glasses cut their faces
But nothing matters but quietness
Though she kept on singing and singing
Three children starving to death
Begging others for food
A mother breastfeeds her feeble infant
But she failed, she possesses nothing
An old man and his wife
Putting her hand in his wrinkled hands
Gazing desperately in the eye during a heartless night
Smiling to deafen the whispers of hunger
An illness silenced everyone
They were strangely quietened
Animosity murdered their existence
They once prayed
But been abandoned to suffer
God left them behind
After they vied for lust
''We failed him' The old man yelled
'We were never men of God, he shows us no mercy' He added
'We cried but he left us to die?' The young brother wondered
'How about those poor children?' The infant's mother screamed
'Unlocking the demons up there. And slaughter them in his hell' The young brother said
'That would happen to us next' He laughably remarked
'Beautiful roses, and a waterfall, goodness and grace for us all'' The older sister sung
Where that young man walking around
He seemed unpleasantly unsatisfied with their false accusations
'That's a matter of time, only time.' He strongly yelled
'Stupid clowns, you are!' He cursed
'Blasphemous incarnates!' And he cursed again
'Hunger deadened your faith' He explained
'And thirst awakens your atheistic urges' He said
'Shame on you' He disgustingly responded
'Birds sung while the breeze ruffles' She still singing
Their deeds were not therapeutic
Yet, they still hope
Though, the moment of liberty was secretive
'A young girl is singing, to make their world a better place' She smiley sung
