    Red face Expressive Art

Oh how exciting it is this world of words and writing
it makes the earth applaud and stand in oar and praises
it is a play in speech, of sentences and senses
    such a storm in feelings
    surging from beneath our pages
    errupting in its heat
deities of frosts and luminous temptations
solemly engaged to a whirle of ink and stencils
    images and shapes
    forever entertained
    in
    frivolous perplection
    delirious in perfection
eternity of light in letters and in sound
    an ever lasting raption
    a window of creation
    a thought provoking mine.

Thank you for very interesting post Ash. I am very glad you liked it.
Indeed raption is a made up word of mine..haha.
Have you ever considered conducting a survey or some sorts of research regarding poetry and audiences.
Something to write about I reckon which I would be very much interested in reading it if you did it.
Would definetely like to see your 2.11 poem...just to see what we get out of it.
    Look forward to it

Nacien, gett'n a little fancy to start. Raption. You've created a new and very pleasing sounding new word which is known as a Neologism. Recently, they've been finding themselves in the dictionary. Raption is so splendid that I think Merrium Webster should stop over at your home for a spot of tea to see what you two could work out. I just love the "word"!

You really have me at a loss here! I'm tempted to quote your entire poem.
I will have to say what stood out to me most was

deities of frosts and luminous temptations
solemly engaged to a whirle of ink and stencils
    images and shapes
I've been thinking of words as shapes lately, enjoying entertaining how on earth I could express what varied shapes apply to given words. Perfect timing for me to read what you have written here.

    The imagery is crystal! Laurie
