    Red face Intentions

    ''Rouge is the rigueur''
    was that said in hush??
    I wonder what it was
    I was intransient for

    Idle tour de force
I hear you trade it all
    I stagger over such
    elluded state of talk

    Reactive entourage
I see you drag it forth
    I read it somewhere right
    it always seems a fetch

    In civil cul de sac
    I knew t' was all a take
I looked up to the make
    and smiled at the fake

    The genre of this wake
is all a mix of tastes
    Does it line in stakes
or does it ply in fame?

    Either way it finds
    it imitates the trade
so let it wage its faith
and shall all reach its aim

    ''Oh dolly please do let''!!
I hear you pledge in faint
    ''I ain't a hand on it''
    replied a voice in font
    ''trickeries and sorts
    trigger those of corse
who took a try at it
and blame it all on falls''.

Nacien, marvelous, darl'n! You write about the "Wasteland" of beings with a delicious wicked wit. At first, I read humour. Always, upon a second read I discover something else. I can almost see you smirking while writing this!

A suggestion for the first line. Quotation marks round "Rouge is the rigure" because a question follows this statement. Love this first line!

    "Rouge is the riguer"
    was that said in hush??
Very clever. Good twist on "wage war"

so let it wage its faith
I simply relate to this! If not an outward, always an inner smile at the masks people create for themselves. Often very unprofessional looking!

I looked up to the make
    and smiled at the fake
Don't quite understand this. Hummm. But I do like it "voice in font". Appealing though an enigma for me.

Great ending and the last line is to die for.

    ''trickeries and sorts
    trigger those of force
who took a try at it
and blame it all on falls''.
Nacien, a delightful piece. The truth decked with colourful streamers. Laurie

Thank you and you should know that in such a short while I have become a fan of yours. Your poetry and then you being the life of the party in The Lounge.

Thank you for your amasing and very truthful words.
Happens when I read amasing and truthful words in a poem. And such fun weaved in!

Contrary to some beliefs, this "Mistress of Gloom" does have a sense of humour
