SEEKING


I don’t seek your adoration
I don’t want applause.
To be the centre of attraction
The one the crowd adores


I’ve never wanted fame or fortune
Always in the news.
Every week in both Heat and OK
Where all can seek my views.


Why would I take fame and fortune
Riches I can’t count.
The cash to buy both things and People
Wealth is not paramount


I just want someone to love me
Be there through the years.
Always there for better and worse
To wipe away my tears.


Will I find that one I long for
The one to share my heart
Through years and days to share the moments
Till death will us part.
