Thanks for pointing out the typo, Trides, and thank you very much for the compliment. The line 'held the pen to you' is because the friend I wrote with this in mind was always very reluctant to write at all, though I still think he is a wonderful writer, and I used to urge him when we were growing up to write more.

I love nostalgia. The first lines of each stanza are great and they really help provide a nice rhythm to the piece.
Poets are always taking the weather so personally. They're always sticking their emotions in things that have no emotions.
