    Mania

    Mystics kicked up dust,
    dervishes lost to forgetfulness,
finding bliss all 'round the dizziness
    vertigo haloing their mirage.

I wait for mania's unexpected kiss
to press unspoken words on my lips,
lap a lovers morphine drip and honor it in song.

    Long never becomes enough,
    heaven dissolves abruptly
    leaving residue of explanations
    and vague questions unresolved.

    The caravan finishes praying,
    dervishes mount their donkeys

and the world is confused for an acrylic oasis,
    but goes unpainted because wanderers
    cannot name its nameless places.

I'm still working on this one, Edge. There are some very deep and profound images here and it's taking my poor brain a while to connect the dots. I love the opening stanza, excellent! I'm going to have to come back to this one after it's 'stewed' a while, hopefully with a clearer understanding.

Oh boy, I get it, Edge, and it's excellent. No nits save for a missing apostrophe in lover's. Love S4. Your net has brilliantly captured that which is so elusive. Kudos.
