Thread: proper words

what would i tell you?
if words were not cast away
in the depths of dignity and properness

i would say to you;

never quiet your smile
nor hush your eyes

guard your wit proudly
for others to see
but none to steal away

worry not about what others think of you
so long as you know yourself clearly

do not forget that you are lovely
for i cannot say this in our normal speech

but above all

remember that i care.
