Honesty, you beg me for it

Honesty, you ask me for it

Honesty, you cry to me for it



I give it, I give honesty

I give it, all the honesty in the world

Yet, it still isn't enough



When I tell the truth

Say how I feel

Its thrown back in my face

I did something wrong

I did something very very wrong



You say you cherish honesty

But the reality of it all is you most

likely cherish a liar over someone who

is truthful



How can I be honest?

How can I share honesty?

If you don't respect or accept my honesty



Its sad to say that you

abuse me when I say the truth

But you, you, oh you praise and even

bribe those who lie

I feel this should be cut. It's a rather unneeded intro.

In the second section, the use of comma's.... possibly, add a period.

I do love your subject and can relate to that feeling.

I've definitely been in that situation, a lot lately. Most of the time, I just seem rude or just having no tact. Which I admit, when I give my honest opinion it's usually not a bottle fed one. Most of the time.

I don't understand what you mean by this... or I just can't wrap my head around...

Overall, it's a good question.... I feel they want nothing but lies.

"Crime" is the subject of this month's poetry challenge, too late now.
