My Deity

I walk amidst darkness
Veiled by my hopes and wishes.
Shutting out, intertwined madness

I walk unwarily amongst peril
Not caring when it'll befall.
As long as you remain, my sentinel

I continue onwards, towards clearance
Disregarding any distance
I walk on, in my murky existence

Knowing you would always walk with me...

I walk against the tide
Cloaked by my pride
Disregarding harsh Stride

I walk amongst the lurking
Ears shutting out the hurting
Eyes ignoring the slithering

Focused on the heartbeat beating by my heartbeat…

Pounding flesh, in reminiscence
Of the ill essence
That made me fall to my knees

Oh how I was aching
Bleeding and shaking
Piece by piece I was breaking


I thank you for pushing me onwards…

My guardian sentinel
My earthbound angel
Without you I would be fallen
Withered and broken

Forever you will remain my strength…

I've just checked through your posts and I don't see you giving any feedback or comments to anyone else. Bumping your own threads is frowned on and, as this is a give and take community, would be unnecessary if you took a little time to comment on the work of others. You'll find that generally people will reciprocate.
