    The 25th

Cold air swifts, up my runny nose
Grandmas kiss, in her funny clothes
Dog is barking, wants more food
    Family’s parking, cant be rude
Feels so right, not one thing wrong
    Pretty tree lights, group sing-alongs
Gifts awaiting, some to give out
Time im hating, till what its about
Those shy smiles, when one will receive
A presence from miles, hard to believe
That they are fine, and glad to be here
Open some wine, for a Christmas cheer
This is a time, that we all do remember
Let the bells chime, the 25th of December

This brought me pleasant memories and feelings.

A few of the lines didn't flow so smoothly for me, though. Still, my impression is that a little polish can smooth those out.

    Thanks.

A jolly seasonal poem however some lines bewildered me namely
Cold air swifts, up my runny nose/Family’s parking, cant be rude/Time im hating, till what its about/A presence from miles, hard to believe/That they are fine, and glad to be here.
Despite this it captured the child's eye view of Xmas remarkably well,

    Brian
