    Senses of the Soul

    What do you see?
When you gaze into the endless dark-
    What do you see?
    Is your vision filled
    With fire and brimstone;
    Or doilies and flowers?
    What do you hear?
When you listen into the blackness-
    What do you hear?
    Are your ears assaulted
    With sounds wicked and strange,
Or sweet and sultry as the sea?
    Such a fey landscape,
    Is the soul.
    Even those who own it
    Cannot fathom it's depth
    And it's beauty.
    What do you feel?
When you see into your soul-
    What do you feel?

I liked it as well, but I think breaking it into stanzas might make it stronger. Hope that helps.

Yes I agree, stanzas please. They really do help the reader to pause and absorb what is being said.
