    Continental Cuisine

    Pork Chop island in a hot brown sea,
    on a plate of ceramic, perfectly formed and fissure free.
    All overgrown with tropical flora;
    broccoli and cauliflower trees.
    Potato dunes full and round,
    no shifting sand or tidal sounds.
    And through the mist, at 7.00pm,
    A bell sounds out but no ship can be seen,
    Surely it can only be The Continental Cuisine?

    That opening line is so great. This was a pleasure to read from start to finish, lots of fun.

    Hey Ralph, I have a great passion for cooking and if only I'd discovered it a bit earlier in life, I'd probably have become a chef. This is great fun, as Cindy said. Your dinner plate landscape is so original, and original ain't easy. My only nit is the caps every line, otherwise, I really enjoyed this.

    Best,
    Lisa
