Tame the Mammal (Just in fun, No Personal Attack on anyone)

    Tame the Mammal

He is a chip off the 'ole block
longing for the chase of the "flock",
    Instead of the Masquerade Ball
he tells tall tales at nightfall.

With his pants down and thumbs up
he growls like a wimpy pup,
And later, begging to be fed
he wishes he were a thoroughbred.

If I were to be bitten
by a man, would I be smitten?
I think not, and would disengage,
like a lion, place him in a cage.

Some day we may tame mammals,
    to survive, it is primordial.

Cindy, I see you've got the Martin bug, as well! Delightfully wicked!

If I were to be bitten
by a man, would I be smitten?
I think not, and would disengage,
like a lion, place him in a cage.
My favorite stanza. Reminds me of some converstations we've had!

Touche, dear Cindy. I got a real kick out of this. Don't you just love recess? Let the poets play, I say!

    Best,

    Haha, nice, Nellie.

Some day we may tame mammals,
    to survive, it is primordial.
This is pretty interesting. Some guys I see, it's like their girlfriends are a balancing factor. They make them less of a dumbass. There are other guys who I accuse the opposite of, though, "Where are you? Quit spending all your time with her. Why do you talk to her in a different voice? Since when do you like Maroon 5?"

Let's see if my above post is deleted without explanation. Wouldn't be the first time.

Well, mammals are being tamed all the time, sociologically speaking it's a growing tendency, at least in the West I believe... Ethically, that last line may be on to something...

Glad I inspired to a 'just in fun' piece as mine were just that too. Clever read Cindy : )

Thanks to all for your kind remarks as I did enjoy myself writing this little piece.

Lisa, let the poets play again.

    Laurie, I love you lady.

Caelum, girls do make a good balancing act, don't they?

And Martin, I think you're right, ethically that last line may be on to something........
