She looks back
and I can tell she’s more interested in a stranger
than me.
She asks me why we are still together.
What is there left of us worth saving.
I can’t help but notice that that man is there,
and he’s catching us.
I say come on let’s just enjoy the day together
and see how we feel later.
Let's slow down a little? she says.
We’re not in a rush are we?
I tell her that we should keep our distance
from that man,
because if he caught us
he might want to talk
and then we’d be stuck with him.

The essential sentiments here are evident and I relate. Quite interesting to have such a novel way of writing cut into a poem and I think it works stylishly nice...
