Learn to love life,
find joy in the small moment.
Pursue your passions,
with single-mindedness.
Dark lashes spider walk across pale cheeks
Freckles dance between the webs
Spinning dreams behind eyelids.
Make mistakes,
and learn from them.
Give of yourself,
there is always need.
Snuffling breath shallow in your chest
Whistling through your missing teeth
Giggling sighs under tangled sheets.
Hunger,
so you may truly appreciate.
Let your anger be short-lived,
don't hold grudges.
I cherish the moments of angelic serenity,
That are missing in the daylight,
As I watch you sleep.
Find the purpose
that fulfills your soul.
And never forget,
while you are tackling this big world,
that you carry my love, my pride and my joy.
