    Little Shoe

    Hello all,

I'm new here, so I thought I'd post a poem. Please let me know what you think, and feel free to be as direct as possible with your criticisms.

    Oh, little shoe,
    Your laces bound,
    Your sole soiled.
    What exploits! What strife!
    Oh, little shoe,
    You no longer fit.

Short, explicit and explosive in a beautiful way. Literally or symbolically, the meaning still remains clear from different angles. Thanks for the addition and of course sharing. Welcome to WF.

Welcome to WF! You have quite a poem here which I find very appealing, as Fox said, in the sense that it can be read straight for what it is or read figuratively.

This little tid bit could be much more, representing the symbolic with the play on words "sole".
    Your sole soiled
You certainly have a poem which is up for interpretation. My kind of thing! Laurie

Very cute and packed with double meanings! My only suggestion is to get rid of the caps at the beginning of each line, it really overwhelms this little gem.
