crusty hope, the message &
the messenger long past heard

& not listen'd, haute
is not haughty, haughty not
haute & snoopydogs cute
for a time not worth the real
time, not even for a scion

Karma, It's all a game this
pet-ulance like jive disjo

'gainst a serious
re-percussionist's thrives, root
flavored by distinct
indifference to macho junk's
delusions, a valid part

of fear, Farther's Day
whomever, double-bagger
raw deal known as now
the mal du pays cartoon of
no-thank-you's in all language

'tis gave him the seeds for an
apology of
Life grown like an unspiny
prickly pear sweeter for view

than for the savor,
amusing? wanting for more?

Haro, here I go, again. Trying to get as "on spot" as possible. Of course, a couple of questions down the road.

How much farther can we stretch Father's day as an "auspicious" occassion when even the god of fertility is being told it's all a joke?

The Why? Why the children, if only for the "view"? Father are you raising your children to the top? To the top of their potential. Or do they come along with the five speed blender because everyone has one?

It is my understanding that parthongenesis has to do with asexual reproduction, mostly in plants, always birthing a female. I'm not getting this in context.

As always, intriqued in the reading and amazed when you break it all down. Laurie

As farther/father as we will allow for faux-sentiment & commercialism; a society which "mandates" rememberances is suspect & subject to delusion. Of course, there are "personal" ref's. here, however, "like jive disjo" is modified in the following line re: "serious re-percussionist's thrives..." primarily, a juxtaposition of music endeavors, + a play on "disjointed" in It's parameters reflected in the Poem's intent. Some things/people are "viewed" as not what they are. "m-n," no I cannot/will not! "parthenogenesis," a play on absentee fatherism - hence, Farther's Day...

This piece stems from anger & sadness (& are they not versions of the same emotion, the absence of liking, & Love?) H'H.
