forgetting love while loving to forget. (language warning)

    Do you feel enabled
    when he fucks up
    his fuck ups?

    Do you feel ashamed
    when he breaks
    his break ups?

    Do you hate it
    when he speaks
    things best left unspoken?

    I think I might know
    where you went wrong.

    The problem with being
    too involved
    is that you're too involved.

    And the problem
    with situations being resolved
    is that they are resolved.

So, stake your well-being on me,
and see if you can kill a man
with a penny from a tall building.

My dear friend, I tend to say this about your pieces "This is your best. Oh, this is your best". Now I know better to say "This is your best, thus far." And so it is. I love your play on words here, consistant in each stanza until the very last one. The prize, as a wrap up should be.

    BRILLIANT!
and see if you can kill a man
with a penny from a tall building.
Glad to be reading more of your work. Love, Laurie

Oh, and I love your title!

Great piece Gal. Only thing I can criticize is "things best left unspoken". It sounds clunky. Otherwise, you've got a keeper here.
