    I love to see the
    Minds inner workings
Alike to a flower opening so we
    Gain new perspectives, new
    Insights into other people's thoughts
Not very often, in my case
As I have been silent for
Too long. But now I am
In a place where I have the
Opportunity to let my mind free
    No shackles, no limits!

    PROSPERITY

    People love making money
    Ridiculous
    Over-indulgences
    Show that
    Price doesn't always
    Equal taste, that
    Rate of pay
    Is no indication of
    The worth of a person
Yet so many seem to think so

    Zootalaws;

    Like to see new poems
    In my acrostic thread
    Killer imagination roams.
    Eventually put to bed.

    Prosperity discussed rationally
    Offends only the materialistic
    Erudition used notionally
    Makes points that stick,
    Stay with me emotionally

As the founder of this thread
    Can you take a bow?
    Reading the posts on here
Offered my strangely-formed brain an outlet
Suffice it to say that I have become an acrostic devotee
To the delight of my wife, a primary school teacher
"I teach those to 5 year olds" she crows.
Couldn't care less. I am enjoying myself

(but I really need to bring more 'poetry' to my prose!)
"I shall always feel respect for every one who has written a book, let it be what it may, for I had no idea of the trouble which trying to write common English could cost one—And alas there yet remains the worst part of all, correcting the press.' Charles Darwin

    Morbid fascination stirs
    Effervescent spume of imagination
Nary a one knows what I'm thinking
    Disdain nods its head, concurs.
After what happened, it's my right
Cheap excuses bind my angel in subjection
I hold the glass up, without drinking, in sardonic
Toast to my own malignant dexterity
Your demon capers and grins, with mine confers.

    Fast...
    Oh my, that's fast!
    Riding the curbs
    My heart in my mouth
    Unable to breathe
Like a fat man sitting on my chest
    Arms feel like lead

    On the hammer
    No time to think
    Exilerating!

    My hero is Casey Stoner
On a bike he is second to none
    To see him drift wide
    On that Honda

    Gives me the shivers
Perhaps he will be World Champion this weekend?

    Nitromethane-powered
    Hot rods scream by
    Roaring sounds as
    Air is blasted by speed

    Tinkered-with transmissions
    often tricked-out bodies
    pulsing jets of flame

    Fumes from smoking rubber
    undertoned with combustion
    engines exploding with horsepower
    lightning harnessed

    I have so many ideas
    Many tried and failed
    Against my fathers wishes
    Getting lost in a daze
    Inviting dreams and sorcery
    Never giving up
    Accepted into creative circles
    Took me to a place
    Imaginary and made up
    Obviously it stayed with me
Needless to say my father lost

1st attempt at this so hope it works - quite enjoyed it actually

It works for me raunch. Besides I am sure this sort of playing around to make things fit has spin off when you comr to write other things.
