    Acrostic thread

    Acrostic challenge.
    This one may be a bit harder than the limerick thread, but still might be fun. An acrostic poem is one in which letters of the poem spell out a word which is relevant to the poem. Let’s keep it simple, shortish words and first letters of each line, at least at first. So someone gives us a word written out with the first line filled in;
T his is a word less heard
    H
    U
    S

You get the picture, finish off thus for me and post a new word please:-

Thanks ever so much for that information, OX. I was inquiring as to the OP's preference.

    ooohh zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzziiinnngg!!!!

    you're on fire today moderan!

EDIT : moderan brought up a good point though, i think the acrostics would be more fun if there were other guidelines like syllable count or theme or meter or rhyming scheme or something more than just the starting word.

How about the person posting the word stipulates a rhyming scheme, the theme of the poem should be the word made up of the first letters, I think we should stay clear of syllable counts and such and stay fairly flexible so that we can suit other elements to the subject.
So let's take another easy one, I was going to say love, but that's too cliché so how about an ABAB rhyming scheme and:-

    Hurtfully twisted up inside
    A
    T
    E

Let's see if my above post is deleted without explanation. Wouldn't be the first time.

I've got an even better idea How about we forget the whole f*cking thing? I don't understand it at all and if one with my high level of intelligence is left floundering, what hope do the hoi-polloi have?

"Stipulates a rhyming scheme." Jesus Christ. Wtf?
