Thread: WF Poetry Challenges:

There will be a poetry challenge each month, two weeks to submit entries followed by ten days to cast votes. One submission per person. The winner of each challenge will get the custom title of "Laureate", to be passed on to the winner of the next challenge. Each winner will also get to pick a theme for the next challenge and will be given a one month free FoWF subscription. If they are already a subscriber then they may nominate any member of their choice to get the free subscription.

Only submissions are to be posted in the challenge thread. Any comments or critiques should be held for the voting thread. Discussion should take place in the Bards' Bistro. Comments other than actual entries in the challenge thread will be deleted.

When voting please remember that you have three votes. There is a good reason for this and it relates to the fairness of the challenge. Anyone who submits less than three votes will have their votes discounted, as will members who vote for their own poems.

Poems should be submitted in their final form, no later editing or alterations; please be sure you are satisfied before you submit and have included the title if you have one.
