    respite

    Daily dreadful driving grind
    Metal box, stuck in line
Looking up, I see her sign

    From my pleather chair,
    Pouty face, mussed up hair
    Two-fisted leather fury
    No longer strive to hurry

    Beckon...(whispered now) beckinsale...

    Pouty face, must up hair
---- I think you may have meant mussed up hair?

    Two-fisted leather fury
----- not sure what this means? Are you describing Kate's character in the Underworld movies?

If so, then I think this is a cute little poem and probably describes many a young (and not so young) man's reaction.

Thank you, yes, mussed up. I couldn't find it in the dictionary after several tries. I kept getting directed to "messed", or some site about breast augmentation... but I knew that's not how it was pronounced. What, me look at some skin-tight leather clad, gun toting vixen, on some billboard? how juvenile...

Even I, a woman, think she looks great in that role.

Again, you turn my frown upside down, *titter* this is priceless, and I'm sure my sons would readily agree with you. Thank you, Kevin, I needed that smile.

    Best,
    Lisa
