Slam

Anyone into Taylor Mali, Saul Williams etc.?

Who here writes slam? Who here performs their poetry?

I love writing slam. It's really the only kind of "poetry" that I feel comfortable writing. What about you?

Saul Williams is great. I've seen him live twice, the first time without any musical assistance to promote Said the shotgun to the head. He had a great presence. The second time was with music to promote his Niggy Tardust release. The movie Slam was pretty good as well.
One of my all time favorite quotes comes from Saul "Intelligence is intuitive, you needn't learn to love unless you've been taught to fear and hate.
