    Did you Blog today?

    Hi.
    How are you?
    I blogged.
I did. I retrieved about two years of posts from my old blog from my "notes" on Facebook, inventing a new Facebook group in the process, sprinkled that with a smattering of short new posts, and embarked on a series of posts about the songs in the sidebar jukebox of my blog-how I came to write them, what they're about, and so on.
Couldn't sleep. Tonight I'm going to think about doing more song capsules. I'm going to add the links to everyone's blog from the blogroll here to my "writing" links area. E me if you'd rather not be included
I have recipes, too. Done in my own phone-booth sized kitchen. Pizza, pizza, pizza, cheesecake. Leg of lamb Greek style. *drools a little* Barbecue ribs three different ways. Grilled lime chicken with bourbon/brown sugar bbq sauce. Mmmmm.
    How about you?

I've been using wordpress for just a few weeks and tend to update it about twice a week with random nonsense or stuff that I consider news.

I know you have...I went to go see your blog, and commented on your blog here. How is wp working for you? Any problems so far? Any functionalities that are either lacking or are superior?
Random nonsense and stuff you consider news can be interesting...I prefer that to the specialty blogs where you get to find out "What Bribney and Lindsay had for dinner, in their translucent tops..." or the poliblogs with their pompous pronouncements and ponderous banks of polls and data.
At least with personal blogs there's a human element. Only my opinion, of course, and likely not worth the electrons...I'm trying to update every day-I want to make a whole year but I dunno. So far it's been three days *laughs* I have a lot of content from my old blog and from the website so...I can move over a piece a day if I'm hurtin' for content
Oh yeah, and Cap'n, I didn't link to your blog because I wanted to ask first.

Go ahead and link to it. I have to do some updating on my own links. So little time, so much to do...

For some reason I'm not getting notifications of comments on my blog here. I'll have to look into that.

I prefer a simple, clean style on the blog. I've drifted towards that with Motley Press as well. The guy who did the layout for the first issue added all the whistles and bell and it looked a mess to me so I took it over and cleaned it up. Maybe it's because I got very influenced by Japanese art but it taught me that what isn't there places a stronger emphasis on what is.

I haven't blogged for a few weeks now. I know, the horror! I've been working hard on edits and a new novel, though, so I suppose that's as good an excuse as any.

Thank you for the link, Cap'n. The chicken will make an appearance in due course...the fun thing about loading all of those old posts is that people are treating them as brand-new despite the titles, which explicitly reference the original appearances.

I go on my Blogspot quite often but the last time I blogged was 2 days ago. I mostly blog about what I'm working on but lately I have just been ranting and posting random ideas lately because I had to put all my new works on hold. Hopefully once I get Microsoft Word installed, I will resume working on my short stories and perhaps have more to blog about.

    Peace,

    Revekka

    I'll blog soon, I swear.

I seriously would love your cheesecake recipe, by the way.

I have my short story for today done, it just needs to be edited and then I'll post it, so though I have not blogged yet, I will in the next half hour/45 mins.

More than I did. Still haven't uploaded the video or blogged further. Did do another 3000 words of the revised novel. Getting ready to tear up the old pages and post the new ones, am writing/recording a new song to debut along with them.
