Mm, I understand. I have to make everyone go away or at least be quiet and stay out of my hair to work on the novel-length stuff. It just takes so much more concentration to keep the storyline(s) in mind while you work. Short stories generally aren't as Byzantine.

When I'm writing (regardless of length) and there are people trying to talk to me I tend to get very snippy and mean with them. They annoy the crap out of me. Seriously, I went to this place to be alone, otherwise I would have gone to you. go away argh!

I blogged today, really have to build that buffer. might do it tomorrow after college but there is so much that is going to get in my way. I have blood tests and costume preparation and college and joining societies in college. It feels like tomorrow is going to be a long day, like today was a long day. >.<
