Showcase for your online literature, serials, blog novels, etc.

Do you have an online literature project? I'm not talking about a "what happened today" blog, but something that creates reading material online?

List it here and we'll take a look then laugh at you and make rude remarks. Or perhaps knock our heads on the floor in sheer awe.

    Find out...

I have been fooling around with web serials, mostly with some other writers, but put up a few preliminary "fliers" from older short work. Learned a lot. I've discontinued posting on these, but you might find them fun.

FLESH WOUNDS is an old column, now an ebook.

(By the way see the video here...music by the lovely and expensive Moderan http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brzRGq98IQY )

TIJUANA BIBLE is a similar regrouping. Not for the squeamish. Okay for border-obsessed or voyeuristic.

If noting else, these might show ways (not necessarily the best ways) in which you can present online lit with a blog.

Well, since I just posted the next episode, I'll go ahead and list mine. It's called The Dark InSpectre, just like in my sig line. New episodes every two weeks.

Thought I'd throw in a link to my online novel True Tales of the Soryan Order just to add to this thread. I'm looking to start trading links with folks, too so anyone who is of a mind let me know. I'd like to get a links page set up as well as setting up some on my sidebars to get some traffic moving.

Lauren T. Hart has a free online writing series that she's doing this year. It's all free right now but I think it'll be published early next year as a paperback. It's a serial novella fantasy. Lauren T. Hart and www.ofgodsandmortals.com

On my blog, I have a "fiction" tab. It leads to information about my efforts to get published AND a very short story that was published last year called Instant Message and one I wrote but didn't intend to sell. called Panhandler.

Fiction « LloydDistrict.com, a walking exploration of Portland's Lloyd District.

If someone has a story and wants to put it somewhere, I'd be happy to put it up there. However, I have to like it. It also has to be under 1500 words. My opinion is that, except for readers, people don't read on the internet -- they scan.

One of my projects is called The Max Gingham Project.
Essentially it is an online blog novel which is updated on a day to day basis about the life of a fictional woman - aka Max Gingham.
The project will also feature web logs. It is a humourous look at the beniality of everyday life and how even when things go wrong you can always try again.
Max Gingham is my inspiration for carrying on against all odds because even when the bad things happen and she gets down she refuses to give in.

Please have a look and let me know what you think.
The first day has gone live today keep checking in daily to find out more about Max if you like the writing thanks.

I have one story posted, "The Deal" at my blog: Moon Alley. I am currently in the middle of writing another short story, but I do post (random) updates of where I'm at in my writing.

If someone actually came and read un-biasedly my story, I would be grateful!

Hey, all. Been awhile since I came to this site.

Reading this thread and sampling some of the blognovels has given me some encouragement to do something similar. I could certainly use the practice, and having an audience (and a mostly-automatic means of segmenting how much work I can publish at once) would help keep some pressure on me to keep up the work, good or otherwise.

I have one question that I'd like to hear your opinions on in order to settle a few niggling doubts. Those of you who've done blognovels, have you written with only one or two chapters in mind at a time and let the plot of the story develop freeform, or have you written out outlines, made notes, etc.? I just want to know if I should start immediately or wait 'til I have something organized.

@Leneth - To answer your question, I had my novel completed through first draft, revison and alpha readers. I then made final edits chapter by chapter as I posted. I just posted the last chapter a few days ago.

My novel is titled, Wind Rider: Prophets of the Smoke. It is a fantasy novel and you can see the finished product at PatrickBran.com.

@Apsu - Thanks for answering! And I'll be sure to check out your novel when I have time.
