Arrow The Eighties

1980

The 1979 Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, spurred American President Jimmy Carter to issue an ultimatum for the USA to boycott the 1980 Moscow Olympics, If the Soviets did not withdraw from Afganistan.

Many western Nations joined the USA In its boycott of the Olympics, and the boycott severely affected many Olympic events. Many Athletes who attended these games were not represented by their National flags.

With Carters approval, The CIA gave financial support and military training to the Mujadeen an Islamic fundamentalist resistance force who were fighting the Soviets In Afghanistan.

America was fully supporting Islamic Fundamentalism in order to hurt the Soviets. Now in 2008, America are the invaders of Afghanistan, It seems that they have learnt nothing from the Soviets mistakes, and they have learnt nothing from the Vietnam War.

Stupid America..

When I grew up in the 80's everybody wanted to be Michael Jackson.. I mean they were all dressing like him acting like him, doing his dance moves and just generally being gay.

I remember bands like Duran Duran and shit were like popular.. In the 80's like I was doing my schooling, I kept wearing my Jacket all the fucking time, I even had a stupid name for it.. because I thought it was like magical.

For most of the 80's I lived In NZ and then me and the clan moved to melbourne in OZ.. I had to go to a school full of bogans, My teachers thought I was a genius, but the bogan kids couldnt comprehend me with their redundant brainwaves.. So I became an outsider at school.. I kind of like that role.

One of the best soccer players of the 80,s was a little Argentine footballer called Diego Maradona, Some people say he was the greatest soccer player ever.. but i disagree, I thought he was a silly drug taking twerp, kind of like that little retard Malone.

There was a better player than Maradona who played during the 80,s. Someone who I consider to be the greatest soccer player ever.. His name is Michel Platini, Platini was a french international, In the 80,s he played for Italian club Juventus. Platini was an incredibly accurate passer of the ball. He was also a very intelligent player and very versatile, He was very difficult to mark against because he knew how to use his teammates to his advantage. He was a better freekick taker than Beckham, his freekicks were very deceptive and very accurate.

Platini also had a very interesting philosophical outlook of tha game, and he had abundant charisma, I personally think that Platini was the greatest soccer player of all time, and If anyone dares to disagree I will crush them!

The 80's gave us Guns N' Roses, and they gave us proper rock instead of all that cross-dressing glam-rock shit. At least that's one good thing about the 80's.
