An Italian inventor, Andrea Rossi, claims that a 1000 MW nuclear reactor, being constructed in Greece, will become operational in October 2011. I hope he is right; how can one not be happy to have electricity which is ten times less expensive than from coal, and without any pollution? But I am skeptical. Why? Because I am a scientist. Read my paper about Rossi's claims:

A new kind of a nuclear reactor?

But many reputable people take his claim seriously, as illustrated in these two posts:

    Canale Video - Rainews24

YouTube - The Magic of Mr. Rossi

How can such optimism be explained?

P.S. It is a good topic and I would be happy to help, to make sure of scientific accuracy. Contact me in private, if you prefer < kowalskiL@mail.montclair.edu >

It is testimony based on a diary kept between 1946 and 2004 (in the USSR, Poland, France and the USA). The more people know about proletarian dictatorship the less likely will they experience it. Please share the link with those who might be interested, especially with young people, and with potential reviewers. Thank you.

They were glad of nuclear power in japan long before Fukushima. And near me is an area renowned for having higher levels of leukemia than national averages, and yes you guessed correctly, there is a nuclear power station in that area, and a spent fuel reprocessing plant.

Cheapest isnt always best, you tend to get what you pay for nowadays, never would I employ a builder who is 'cheaper than the rest', the best service available is what I'd always go for first.

It is the professionals in nuclear power who dont have to worry about leaks and mishaps, but it is the people operating them, delivering to them and living close to them who suffer most.
