Thread: Looking for experience doing technical writing? I need some help.

Is anyone looking for experience doing technical writing? If you are, I'm in need of some writers to help out periodically with articles over at my site. This isn't an advertisement, but rather an opportunity for anyone who needs experience doing technical writing, as well as a slight cry of help from me. ^_^;; I do most of the writing for Raiden's Realm, a Linux and Open Source community tech site, and my schedule this fall is really making it increasingly difficult to keep up with articles.

Since the site is an open not for profit community site, allowing pretty much anybody to write and submit articles for posting, it's a great opportunity if anyone wants to give me a hand writing articles for the site. Plus, as I said, it'll give you some great experience, as having to do so much writing for the site has improved my technical writing skills a lot from what they used to be. It could do the same for you too.

So by helping out you do me a favor, and you do yourself one as well. You don't have to necessarily be a Linux guru to write articles. We're always interested in stuff from even complete newbies, as new users offer an interesting perspective over seasoned pros on certain subjects.

And as I said before, this is *not* an advertisement. I'm simply offering people here a chance to get some much needed experience, and at times public and private critique, if they're interested. Plus you'd be helping out a worthy cause and giving my tired fingers a much needed rest. ^_^;;

lol. Yeah, it's not an advertisement. It's a cry for help. If I was actually selling something, then you could consider it an advertisement. The only thing being exchanged here is, I get articles to fill my quota and preserve my sanity, and the people who help get extra experience they can put on their resume for later in life.
