    Quitting Already

Jeez, it isn't even close to November and I gotta withdraw from participating. I had some ideas, but, oh well, I'll be the first WF NaNo dropout

Well, a combination of things I guess. I've got school and work to do, but the real truth is I am planning travel and also the release of Call of Duty 2 will take up much of my time, seeing as how I spend exactly 1/7th of my week gaming

Hmm I see...well, have fun traveling and gaming your hands off. Sad...just when I thought that maybe, just maybe, we'd see some of your writing.

ps...Did you memorize the smiley things?

I feel guilty posting work without ever reviewing anything.

Okay...how about if I write a story, you say if it was good or bad in like 3 words, and then you won't feel guilty anymore. Besides, I think everyone here is missing out; you're a great writer (and yes I know this for a fact).

I can't participate in NaNoWriMo because I have enough trouble making time for writing as it is

Due to unforseen circumstances which demand I do a triage of my obligations and because I never start what I can't finish - I'm withdrawing from NaNoWriMo.

I think you're missing the point. Sure, for someone who's only looking to create fully planned and professional works, yeah, NaNoWriMo is a total cock-up of an idea.

But, if you're just getting started, or you want to push yourself a little harder, or just want to try something crazy now and then, I think NaNoWriMo is a good idea.

    Differences of opinion I guess.

Heh, I was reluctant to do WF because of video-games. In the end, I decided to resign the world of video-games for a while.

I didn't even bother to run out and buy my copy of civ 4 that I've been waiting for for over a year...

Sorry to hear that Pen. This year has seen a good deal of casualties at the gate.
