    NanoWriMo site & Progress

The site must be getting hammered it is the third day and I cannot get on, takes about 5-10 minutes to load each page.

How is everyone else getting on with their novel?

Getting on, already behind but it's been a busy few days for me. I'm just going to keep plugging along, I figure a few days I'll write more, some I'll write less. Trying to keep it in the range of 1,000 though.

After a very long writing siesta, I decided to use NaNoWriMo as motivation for finishing the novel I started three or so years ago. So far I'm every so slightly ahead of schedule, so here's hoping I keep it up!

Well I couldn't do it last night as it was my anniversary and me and the wife went out for a meal, but I will catch up at the weekend. I am aiming for 1700 per night.

Who's still in NaNo? I just wrote a little over 4000 words in one day, something I said (despairingly) several times that I didn't think I could do.

So somehow I'm on track and at 35,117 words total. Surprised? Yes. Maybe I can actually finish this thing after all.

I'm at just under 38,000 words on the 24th. Seems doable, to get 12,099 words by the 30th. Except I have to work from Thursday through Monday. And my story has decided to be stubborn and will not be written the way it is supposed to go. I'm hoping I can get going on this thing and get it finished. I know WHAT to write, just getting it in the proper words is the problem,

Yeah, I failed spectacularly. But what I did manage to get out was pretty liberating and of decent quality, so I'm really keen to keep working on it, just at my own pace.
Just give me moments. Not hours or days.
